A Christmas Tale, Part 3: Chapter 2 of the Conclusion (aka The Conclusion’s Conclusion)

Huh? What's going on here?

Daddy's actually walking me toward the presents???

And he's handing me a gift?

TWO gifts?

THREE???!

Dare I hope for...?

FOUR presents?!?! Hehe, oh my goodness!

Whoa, hold on a minute! Is it... is it... It is! It's CHRISTMAS DAY!! Yay!

Seriously, you guys? These presents are all for ME??

You're not kidding? I really get to have them all?

And... and... and they were sent by all the people who love me very much? ~quivering lips~

Oh, I'm just so happy I could cry!... Or, spit up!

Well, which one should I play with first?

There are presents here...

...presents there...

I'm so confused! I just don't know where to start! With a full day of play ahead of me, this is going to be a merry Christmas after all!

*                    *                    *

Oh, happy sigh... I thought this was going to be the most miserable Christmas, but...

it turned out to be the best Christmas I've ever had!... ~snore~

Thank you for all the gifts, Family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Everybody!

I Love a good story and this was one of the best…He’s going to make a darling cupid, and have fun with the Easter bunny…..the adventures of little Emrick are just beginning!

We’ve got a *whole tree* full of magic thinking sticks (they grow there). I’ll send them out to everyone right away 😉

Kellie, I’M green over his Ugly Dolls too!!

To Everyone: As far as future holiday stories go, well I guess we can keep it up a little while longer. But I expect Emrick to stop cooperating and wearing the cute outfits by the time he’s 25 or so!

I want to bite his cheeks! Probably tastes better than the truffles. My modem pooped on me Thursday night, so I have been Jonesing for this conclusion all weekend! Happy New Year to all of you!

I think the “ugly” dolls are from Maurice Sendak’s book “Where the Wild Things Are”. It’s a terrific book and I think I still have it. ( We fans of good children’s literature don’t let go of these things.)

I’m pretty sure they’re unrelated: See here and here
The wild things look like this.
I agree there are similarities in appearance, though.
