Thanksgiving Weekend

Emrick wears his cute Thanksgiving outfit, a gift from Aunt Megan, while sitting with Grandpa Ed.

Turkey! Nom nom...

The table is set. This is the first time we've used any of our wedding china.

Emrick is a little young to be eating solids, but we didn't feel right denying him all the delicious offerings. So we loaded up a big plate for him... turkey leg, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato, green beans, rolls, the works. He ate it all! And washed it down with a glass of sparkling cider. That's my boy!

The day after Thanksgiving is officially the Christmas season. So on Friday we busted out one of Emrick's pairs of Christmasy pj's. Cute!

Emrick treats Grandma to a little grin.

Emrick is a bit distressed to see Uncle Chris leave so soon!

Bye bye, Uncle Chris!

I must admit Shona, the picture of the turkey and the first sentence about Emrick wearing his cute Thanksgiving outfit did give me a bit of a start. When I realized there was no wild hair sprouting from the turkey I was relieved that you did not in fact dress your son as a holiday feast.

I think this may be one of Grandpa Ed’s proudest moments! Shona, Emrick is adorable and he reminds me so much of you when you were a baby! Glad his first Thanksgiving was a yummy one from the looks of his plate!
