That’s right. It’s a boy! So, those of you who have been requesting, nay demanding, that I have a girl… Sorry! 🙂 It looks like blue onesies and tiny 3-piece suits are in this Sorensen’s future, rather than cute sundresses and barrettes. But Marcus and I are not disappointed in the slightest… I can in all honesty say that I had no preference; my bigger concern was that the baby was okay, and so far everything on the ultrasound looks dandy. So, we’re pleased. I do wonder, though, with Sam having two boys and Clark having two girls, if we Morgan offspring are genetically programmed to spawn only children of the opposite sex. Is that possible? Hmm…
Either way, I have to say that seeing the baby jump around and wave his arms was pretty amazing stuff. Take a look…
Check out that spine and profile!
Check out that arm! And those kidneys!
Watch the sonographer’s mouse. It’s a boy!
More Baby Sorensen!
Yes, definitely a boy! And see how he rubs his face with his little hands? Like a real baby!

Well I am VERY happy for you guys!! You know I’m a little partial (not sure on the spelling on that, english teacher LOL) to boys, having two of my own! But names… good luck there, we have had a tough enough time figuring ours out! Boys names are much harder if you ask me! CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS! I’m SO happy for you guys!!!
How about “Mazinga” ?
How ADORABLE!! I myself am kinda partial to boys as well. Rippey needed a boy cousin to play with. I am so excited for the two of you!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I’m soo excited…if you don’t know that by now. As for names…I’m sure you’ll pick out a great one. A new little computer geek in the family…my favorite kind of geek. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ultrasounds…
I like Cinda’s train of thought. How about “Wesomea”, “Xcellente”, or “Tuds”, Shona ;-)?
I guess it’s possible I knew you were pregnant; but I think this is the first I’ve heard of it. Congratulations. How far along are you?
Seamus or Neil are my name suggestions.
“Seven Sorensen”
Never mind, I saw my own answer. I guess one does not read the blog, one cannot is delooped as it were.

Sorry, Clark. Mom indicated to me that she was telling everyone, but according to a conversation with Sam I had a month ago (and now you), she didn’t do a very good job! (Sorry, Mom). Serves me right for not communicating like a normal person (i.e. relying on the blog).
Seven Sorensen… We actually did consider that name, Chris. In jest of course.
Mom, I did not understand your suggestion one bit until I saw Marcus’ response to it. If I am going to name my son with a poorly disguised adjective, it’s going to be Andsomeh.
No way. Tuds it is.
Wow, it is just like a real baby! As far as it being a boy, don’t think for a minute it means he wont be just like you. Ed is the male version of me! And I know there is no less drama than anyone I know with girls. So enjoy! lol…congrats again and keep the posts coming.
I thought Mazinga was a reference to a doll Chris used to have, sort of a proto transformers/japanimation thing. Then I saw Marcus’s post and thought he was on drugs. Now that I get it, I’m just gonna go with Ill Ooperp.

Heh, I guess I’m just too used to looking for patterns 😉

I don’t know. After looking at Clark’s link, I’m kinda feelin’ Mazinga. Or maybe Brain Condor.
“Mazinga” was an action figure that Chris had. I’m glad every had fun with it. My serious suggestion is HENRY.

So Mom actually meant Mazinga to be a reference to the toy, and not to the word “amazing”? Hmm. Well, then all I have to say is this: If I am going to name my son after one of Chris’s old toys, then it’s going to be Stretch Armstrong… Stretch Armstrong Sorensen. Cool.
Sam, don’t scare me! 😉
Congrats!!!! I’m so excited for you!
Thor. His name shall be Thor Maximus Sorenson. Has a ring to it, no?

You declared that name with such authority, Kellie, that now I feel as though I must follow your orders. “His name shall be Thor Maximus Sorensen,” … thus sayeth the Lord. 🙂
It does have a ring to it. It is certainly better than all other suggestions so far. Not even “Henry Tuds” can measure up.
