I’ve been meaning to do a post, but you know how that goes. I have lots of pictures to share, but my computer and camera lately refuse to communicate with each other, which makes it hard. So until that problem is solved, I am posting some pictures that are already on my computer, rather than trapped on my camera. These are all from earlier this month!

OK. I need to explain the next couple of pictures before I post them. One evening a few weeks ago, Emrick’s bathtime was approaching. Now normally we take off his diaper right before we put him in the water. But on this particular evening, he pooped about 10-15 minutes before I was ready to start the bath. I was doing another chore that I wanted to finish before giving him a bath, but the diaper situation was demanding immediate attention. So I changed him. Now, had we been just five minutes from bathtime, I probably would have taken my chances and let him go diaper-less for those few minutes. But we were more like 15 minutes away, so I didn’t want to risk it. I ALSO did not want to waste a brand new diaper that might barely get soiled and then have to toss it. So what did I do? Well, during some recent adventures, Emrick had located and dug out a ziplock bag filled with about six diapers that he had long outgrown. Most of them were size 1-2, which is a size he wore more than a year ago. I spied the bag and thought Bingo! If I could even sort of make one of those size 1 diapers fit his size 4 bum, I would let him wear that for the fifteen minutes between then and bathtime. This is what it looked like:
