And she is quite the little mover. My girl has no time to lie still, and no patience for anyone who tries to make her. Diaper changes have become a battle of wills. I am constantly pushing her hips down in an attempt to get the diaper fastened while she tries to crawl off the table and I stupidly plead with and warn her, as if my words could possibly mean anything to her! I told Marcus tonight that I think she will be one of those kids who climbs out of her crib at just a year old.<\/p>\n

She is pretty much crawling now. I mean, it’s not a perfect crawl, but she can maneuver her way to any part of the room, no matter how far or in which direction. She just needs to see something she wants to grab and she is on her way. On Wednesday she had her six month check-up, and the doctor asked me what sorts of things she was doing. Was she rolling over? Reaching for things? Laughing? Answers: For three months now. All the time. You bet. And when I mentioned that she was about five seconds away from having crawling down pat, he said that was “remarkable”, declared her an “early developer”, and then proceeded to call the entire office staff into the exam room to shake my hand.<\/p>\n

Okay, maybe not so much that last part.<\/p>\n
