I found some old pictures of Emrick using it when he was about Holly&#8217;s age, so I decided to go ahead and see if she was into it. It took a bit of preparation to get it Holly-ready: First\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">I detached all the toys and ran them through the dishwasher. Then\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">I laundered the fabric seat insert. And after that,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">I wiped down the saucer three times &#8212; first with soapy water, then with disinfectant, and then finally a rinsing wipe with just water. \u00a0Now, less than 48 hours later, it has a nice glaze of Holly spit-up as the finishing touch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But the important issue is whether or not she likes it. She does! Right now, she can only deal with it for about 10-15 minutes at a time, but Emrick was the same way when he was first introduced. By the time he was six months old, he could be entertained by it for up to 30-45 minutes. So here&#8217;s hoping the same will be true for Holly.
