Here are a few things that happened in November.<\/p>\n

1. Emrick continued to become a more cooperative participant in his dental hygiene regimen.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. We got our first significant snow storm of the season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. The outlet mall which I mentioned here<\/a> finally opened for business. We swung by to check it out one evening a day or two after it opened. We didn’t buy anything (it was just too cold to be a pleasant and leisurely trip) but everything looked very nice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shortly after this photo was taken, I bought a proper winter hat for Emrick. But at the time, I had to let him use my scarf. It was windy and frigid and my Pookie needed warmth!<\/p><\/div>\n

4. Emrick got a much-overdue haircut.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. We went to Pocatello to spend Thanksgiving with Grandma Sorensen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought Emrick looked pretty cute in this Fall\/Thanksgiving outfit, so I decided to move him from this chair and instead take some pictures of him sitting obediently on the hotel room sofa. It didn’t quite work out…<\/p><\/div>\n

Grandma Sorensen and Emrick had fun reading together.<\/p><\/div>\n

And Emrick showed off his numbers knowledge.<\/p><\/div>\n

Back at the hotel the next morning, Emrick is entranced by Dora while eating his continental breakfast.<\/p><\/div>\n

6. I finally, two months after the fact, put the big boy bathroom stuff I bought Emrick for his birthday into the jack-and-jill bathroom that adjoins his bedroom. This is now where all of his tooth-brushing and bathing take place (he finally outgrew the laundry room sink!).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

7. Emrick got into my lipstick while I was getting ready to run errands. I was standing\u00a0right next to him<\/em> while this was happening, and yet I didn’t see it until it had gotten to this point. I mean, I realized he was in my makeup drawer, but I thought he was just doing his usual Pookie-style rearranging. He’d opened my lipsticks before in the past and touched them to his lips, but previously, he didn’t know how to roll the lipstick to the top of the tube. NOW HE DOES.<\/strong><\/p>\n
