Marcus has been making great progress on the laundry room. Here are some pics from the past few weeks.<\/p>\n

Instead of drywalling up the entire loft opening, we’ve decided to put three decorative windows there. So Marcus framed out the window openings. Here he is, looking like a very hopeful Rapunzel.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

Here’s the inside of the laundry room. The big wooden box thing is a big pedestal Marcus is building for our front-loading washer\/dryer (which Marcus has had since before we were married). No more (or at least reduced!) bending over!<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

The first coat of “Nomadic Desert” has been applied. This is a new batch, so hopefully it will still blend well with the stuff the builder applied two years ago. <\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

The first coat of paint on the inside has been applied. It’s hard to tell from the pic, but it’s a light blue. We’re unsure if we like it. <\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

So that’s the progress made on the laundry room. Today we need to decide if the second coat of paint will still be “Bounty” or if we want to go with something with more green in it. Later this week, the tile goes in. Marcus is working like a dog!<\/p>\n
