I just took these pictures of Emrick a few minutes ago. It’s almost bedtime, and Emrick has been hanging out on the futon while Marcus and I geek out on our computers (the computers and futon are now in the same room, for those of you who have been to our house and might be afraid that we left Emrick alone to chill on an elevated surface). Anyway, he started showing off his darling, chubby baby legs, and I just had to take some pictures!<\/p>\n

This is actually Emrick trying to teethe on the pillow.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

We think Emrick may be on the verge of finally sprouting a tooth. He chomps HARD on anything that he can get in his mouth, including mommy’s fingers and hair. On top of that, he has been a little more fussy than usual the past couple of days, and last night it took him several hours to settle down after being put to bed. In fact, he didn’t settle for any kind of long stretch until shortly after a dose of Tylenol, administered at 3:30 AM or so, which means it was probably pain keeping him up. Anyway, I am SO EXCITED to see how tonight is going to go!<\/p>\n
